Only four Hamilton councillors ride buses for charity

The Throw Council on the Bus campaign has wrapped up with only four of 16 city councillors completing five trips on the bus over a two-month time frame.

The “friendly challenge” issued to council by the Throw Council On The Bus campaign and Environment Hamilton raised $1,388 for various city charities, organizers reported.

The councillors who completed the challenge were Ward 2’s Jason Farr, Matthew Green of Ward 3, Aidan Johnson of Ward 1 and Arlene VanderBeek of Ward 13.
