The Social Planner Assistant with The Family Learning Project will be responsible for the coordination of training sessions that will provide education on child welfare legislation for new Canadian families. The position will entail the development and implementation of an educational training plan as well as community outreach and engagement.

This position will coordinate and deliver frontline services and guide implementation of the Financial Empowerment Problem Solving (FEPS) Project to increase financial independence of people who economically vulnerable in Hamilton. This role will directly support people who are economically vulnerable to access financial benefits, make informed decisions, and improve their financial security and well-being.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.The EA plays a critical part in assisting SPRC teams and projects. The EA oversees office operations, public relation activities, and is expected to have knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures, and practices.
